'Zen Zen Wakaranai : No Idea' is the true story of Fay, a Westerner living in Japan and Eri, a Japanese girl living in Holland who are making an animation together. The artists struggle through personal, artistic and cultural boundaries to reach to summit of a metaphysical mountain. Along the way we encounter, among others, a transvestite superhero, an army of otaku, Pablo Picasso and his favourite erotic Japanese print and a karaoke song in this heartwarming, playful animated short.
'Zen Zen Wakaranai : No Idea' is a bilingual film using both Japanese and English language. It was created in Japan and Holland with a pan-national team of artists.
